Don’t forget to ask for the funds
Once you’ve successfully pitched your audience, it is most important to ask for their support. Just like a sales pitch, asking for their business is what closes deals. Listen to the feedback, and prepare to make adjustments to your company, the business and the product/service, as well as how you pitch the next set of investors. Address any follow-up actions and clarify next steps. Recognize that the investor pitch deck is a living document that will need regular revisions as you get better at presenting, and as new information comes to light from company development.
